Botanical Colors offers natural dyes and education to textile artisans, the home crafter and budding dye enthusiasts around the world. We support regional farmers, organic farming, regenerative soil practices and are forever pushing the boundaries of creating natural color in our Seattle-based studio. We supply ancient dyes for modern times.
Seattle-based Botanical Colors was founded in 2010 by Kathy Hattori. Botanical Colors supplies natural dyes to artisans, dye houses and industrial clients seeking the beauty and environmental and social benefits natural color palettes offer. In addition, we offer classes and educational materials to teach natural dyeing to a broad audience.
We also offer consulting packages for production dyeing. If you are a brand looking to vertically integrate your dye capacities please reach out to dyehouse@botanicalcolors.com. Along with our wide assortment of organic, GOTS-certified and food waste dyes sourced from all over the world, we also continue to support a network of regenerative farmers here in the United States.
Select items in the Botanical Colors popup shop will be offered at a 10% purchase discount for event attendees.
