Mending Night at Prairie Underground

Event Details

Mending Night at Prairie Underground

Thursday, March 26th 6pm to 8pm PST

This is a free event to provide people with tools and guidance to fix their clothes. Local menders Ravenna Koenig and Sean Callahan will be on hand to help people brainstorm the best way to fix their damaged garments, teach techniques, and offer advice and tips. All mending tools will be provided (needles, thread, yarn, fabric scraps, etc) — though if you want to bring your own stuff, you can. The event is hosted by Prairie Underground, Georgetown’s small-batch, slow fashion design house.

These events will take place once a month throughout the year. (If you are a skilled mender and want to volunteer to help out, let us know!)

All are welcome!
