Stacey Sterling of BasilicArt has been a working artist since 1980. Her mission is to bring people closer to the ocean and learn about environmental issues through murals, paintings, and clothing designs.
Stacey has always gravitated toward the ocean, from selling art on the boardwalk in Santa Monica, California to living on a Greek Island and now to working at Pike Place Market.
Swimming with octopuses, fish and all kinds of sea life triggered Stacey’s deep passion for painting. Stacey hopes to make positive changes toward a cleaner ocean through her art. BasilicArt loves painting commissions, as well as special order baby outfits.
